Tenafly JCC offers art immersion trip to Israel
Tobi Kahn, a world-renowned painter and sculptor whom New York magazine has ranked as the number one art gallery tour guide, has arranged an in-depth insider tour of Israeli museums and art galleries as well as private viewings of acclaimed artists’ studios.
The trip, from May 22 to 29, hosted by the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades, features round-trip airfare from New York City to Tel Aviv; airport VIP service and round-trip airport transfers; three nights each at the Inbal Hotel in Jerusalem and the Carlton Hotel in Tel Aviv (based on double occupancy), and all taxes and service charges imposed by hotels. All entrance fees to sites are also included, and there will be a private tour of the King Herod exhibition at the Israel Museum.
Other highlights include five full days of sightseeing in an air-conditioned bus with an English-speaking guide with one day of free time in Jerusalem.
Meals include full Israeli breakfast daily and four dinners.
Costs not covered are tips to guide and driver, soft and alcoholic drinks with meals, and personal expenses. A minimum number of participants will be required to plan the trip. Registration is by April 8.
