Lag B’Omer celebration

Jeffrey Friedberg, leader of the Bossy Frog Band, will perform for 3- to 7-year-olds during a Lag B’Omer celebration/prospective member open house at Temple Israel in Ridgewood, Sunday, May 22, at 11 a.m. Friedberg plays the banjo, guitar, saxophone, and harmonica, and sings. He is also a certified music therapist. At 11:30, the shul’s Brandeis Men’s Club will host a barbecue with a Ping-Pong tournament. At 12:30 p.m., there will be an open mic for musicians.
