Taylor Nadel
Taylor Nadel, daughter of Lorrie and Jarrod Nadel of Closter and sister of Samantha, became a bat mitzvah on Oct. 29 at Temple Emanu-El of Closter.
Leah Field
Leah Field, daughter of Sharon and Alan Field of Demarest and sister of Emma and Adina, became a bat mitzvah on Oct. 29 at Temple Beth El of Northern Valley in Closter.
Justin Robert Cambria
Norman Rosner of New Milford is pictured with his great-grandson, Justin Robert Cambria, born on Oct. 10 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood to Julie and Adam Cambria of Washington Township. Justin Robert’s grandparents are Nancy and Richard Blumenthal and April and Joe Cambria, all of Emerson. His other great-grandparents are Rosalie and Marty Blumenthal of Wayne and Antoinette and Robert Cambria of Brooklyn, N.Y. Justin Robert is Rosner’s fourth great-grandchild.
Hiller/Rosenberg
Molly Hiller, daughter of Charlotte and Alan Hiller of Wanaque, formerly of Montvale, and Alex Rosenberg, son of Carole and Mitchell Rosenberg of Chandler, Ariz., formerly of Englewood, were married on Oct. 16. The wedding, at the Valley Regency in Clifton, was officiated by Rabbi Stephen Listfield, formerly of Temple Emanu-El in Englewood, which is now in Closter. Coincidentally, Rabbi Listfield also presided over the bride’s mother’s conversion, the bride’s parents’ wedding, the naming of the bride at birth, and the groom’s bar mitzvah.
Shayna Hiller, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor and Samuel Passow and Andrew Joslin were the best men.
The bride graduated from Pascack Hills High School and received a bachelor of science degree in psychology at Montclair State University. She works as a paralegal and plans to attend graduate school. The groom, a graduate of Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, attended Rider College and Montclair State University. He works as a restaurant manager.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will live in Lodi.
Wendy Starr
Wendy Starr, daughter of Barbara and Michael Starr of Oradell and sister of Sara, became a bat mitzvah on Oct. 22 at Temple Avodat Shalom in River Edge. Her grandparents are Bernie and the late Joan Freedman of Eastchester, N.Y., and Phil and Rhea Starr of Lancaster, Pa.
Shayna Scott
Shayna Scott, daughter of Deborah Naroff Scott and Stephen Scott of Ramsey, became a bat mitzvah on Sept. 10 at Barnert Temple in Franklin Lakes.
Kate Pascarello
Kate Pascarello, daughter of Beth Maravnick Pascarello of River Edge and Frank Pascarello of Little Ferry, became a bat mitzvah on Oct. 22 at Temple Emeth in Teaneck.
Jake Newman
Jake Newman, son of Melissa and Ken Newman of Franklin Lakes and brother of Ross and Alex, became a bar mitzvah on Oct. 22 at Temple Beth Rishon in Wyckoff.
