Sophia Eleni Jacobs, daughter of Kathy and Joshua Jacobs of Hillsborough, was born on Dec. 7 at St. Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick. She weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 18 ¾ inches long. She is the granddaughter of Ellen and Marc Jacobs of Fair Lawn, and Helen and Ted Siliverdis of Raritan; niece of Jerry Siliverdis of Raritan and Rachel (Jacobs) and Philip Blumenthal of Springfield, Va.; and cousin of Seth and Maya Blumenthal.

Jack Dylan (Yakov Fishel) Chang was born on Jan. 3 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City to Katherine Fromm and Chris Chang of Jersey City. He weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long. His grandparents are Jessica and Isaac Fromm of Teaneck, and Lucy and Bing Chang of Mountain Lakes.

Mia Chava Stein was born on Jan. 10 at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center to Zeevyah Benoff and Ari Stein of Teaneck. She joins siblings Adara Batya, Alon Aharon, and Sarah Chana. Their grandparents are Robin and the late Dr. Allen Benoff of Teaneck, and Alisa and Bill Stein of South Nyack, N.Y. Mali and Abe Janower of Palm Beach, Fla., are the great-grandparents; Drs. Talya Benoff (Justin Schleifer) of Providence, R.I.; Oren Benoff (Amy) of Jerusalem, Israel; and Adam and Heather Stein of Haverstraw, N.Y., are the aunts and uncles; and Ayden Yaron, Amaryah Ratzon, Livona Hadas Almaya, and Tiesto Aviv are the cousins.
