Rayna Sophie Avidon was born on April 25 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood to Emily and Scott Avidon of Fair Lawn. She weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, was 20 inches long, and joins a brother, Leo. Their grandparents are Leslie and Elliott Klepner of Boca Raton, Fla., and Susan and James Avidon of Fair Lawn. Rose Antler of Hawthorne is their great-grandmother. Rayna Sophie was named for her aunt Roni and paternal great-great grandmother, Sophie.

Lyndsay Wyck, daughter of Cathy Wyck of Oakland, celebrated becoming a bat mitzvah on April 21 at Temple Beth Rishon in Wyckoff.

Bennett Rosner, son of Diana and Larry Rosner of Park Ridge and brother of Elias, and grandson of Berta and Sherman Fromme of Park Ridge and the late Eli Rosner and Rachelle Rosenberg, celebrated becoming a bar mitzvah on April 22. The ceremony, led by Rabbis Dov Drizin and Yosef Orenstein of Valley Chabad, was at the Bergen County YJCC in Washington Township. Bennett is a seventh-grader at Park Ridge High School.
