Allison Luing
Allison Luing, daughter of Lee Anne and Timothy Luing of Saddle River and sister of Matthew and Tyler, became a bat mitzvah on Sept. 10 at Temple Beth Or in Washington Township.
Alex Corson
Alex Corson, son of Risa and Michael Corson of Closter and brother of Tyler, became a bar mitzvah on Sept. 10 at Temple Beth El of Northern Valley in Closter.
Maxwell Ian Eisenberg
Maxwell Ian Eisenberg, son of Derek and Christine Eisenberg of Maywood and brother of Camryn, 11, and Victoria, 7, became a bar mitzvah on Sept. 3 at Reconstructionist Temple Beth Israel in Maywood. His grandparents are Dr. Larry Eisenberg of Fort Lee and North Miami, Fla.; Carol Eisenberg and Dr. William Benjamin of Belfast, Maine, and Tel Aviv, Israel; John and Joan Amico of Bradley Beach, and Mary Jane and John Petti of Galloway and Naples, Fla. Saul Feltzin of Boca Raton, Fla., is his great-grandfather.
Cole Caplan
Cole Caplan, son of Caryn Goodman and Mitchell Caplan of Ridgewood, became a bar mitzvah on Sept. 10 at Temple Israel & Jewish Community Center in Ridgewood.
Sydney Breitkopf
Sydney Breitkopf, daughter of Andrea and Stuart Breitkopf of Fair Lawn and sister of Jacob, became a bat mitzvah on Sept. 10 at the Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Cong. B’nai Israel.
Dylan Bitensky
Dylan Bitensky, daughter of Cindy and Jeffrey Bitensky of Franklin Lakes and sister of Benjamin, 11, became a bat mitzvah on Sept. 10 at Temple Beth Rishon of Northwest Bergen County in Wyckoff.
Julius Wolfin
Julius Wolfin, 85, of Montvale, formerly of Middle Village, N.Y., died on Aug. 27.
Born in Brooklyn, he was a U.S. Army World War II veteran serving in Europe with the Eighth Armored Division. A former board member of Edgewood Country Club and the YM-YWHA of Hackensack, he was the president/CEO of Ferrum Industries and Textol Systems for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Sydelle; two sons, Lawrence (and his wife, Helene) and Richard (and his wife, Susan); a daughter, Jayne Petak (and her husband, David); a brother, Nathan; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Rachel, Derek, Michael, Jacob, Samantha, and Benjamin; and many nieces and nephews.

Beatrice Singer
Beatrice Singer, née Lindner, 90, of Glen Rock, formerly of Jersey City, died on Aug 27 at Hackensack Hospice.
Born in New York City, she was predeceased by her husband, Milton, and is survived by two sons, Laurence of Glen Rock and Dr. Andrew of Greensboro; and two grandchildren, Robert and Catherine.
Arrangements were by Eden Memorial Chapels, Inc., Fort Lee.
