Miles Benjamin Neustein, 55, formerly of Paramus and Oradell, died on Jan. 28.

He received undergraduate and law degrees from Boston University, was a lawyer in Bergen and Morris counties, and a member of the New Jersey and New York Bar associations.

He is survived by his parents, Reva and Rod Fischer; a sister, Betsy Ross (Larry); a step-sister Helene Fischer; a step-brother, Mark Fischer; an aunt, Harriet Cohen; niece and nephew, Adam and Emma Ross; and cousins, Larry, Susan, Naomi, and Ruth.

Donations can be sent to Tomorrows Children’s Fund in Hackensack or the ASPCA.

Estelle Schneider, née Slaff, nearly 94, formerly of Teaneck, Englewood, Tenafly, and Hackensack, died on Jan. 26 in Paramus.

She was a member of Temple Emanuel of Englewood for many years and Temple Beth El of Hackensack.

Predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Judge C. Conrad Schneider, she is survived by a son, Stephen; a daughter, Louise Schneider (Richard Adler); a brother, Bertram Slaff; and two grandchildren, Max Adler and Sophia Adler.

Marcia Kestnbaum, née Dyckman, 92, of North Bethesda, Md., formerly of Demarest and Tenafly, died on Jan. 29 at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda.

Born in Newark, she is survived by three daughters, Amy, Suzanne, and Ellyn.

Judith Miriam Konarski, née Satekhin, 88, of Santa Clara, Calif., formerly of North Bergen, died on Jan. 28 at Optima Hospital in Santa Clara.

Born in Iran, she was predeceased by her husband, Stanislaw, in 1999, and is survived by nieces and great nieces. She was a member of the Hebrew Benevolent Society of North Hudson.

Jeanne Dorn, 91, née Oxhandler, of Rockleigh, died on Jan. 29 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

Born in Brooklyn, she was predeceased by her husband, Murray in 1999, and is survived by two daughters, Sandra Teitelbaum of Baltimore, Md., and Terry Gottlieb of Fort Lee; a son, Jeff of Englewood; a brother, Robert Oxhandler of Florida; and six grandchildren.

Jesse O. Kahan, 82, of Ridgewood, died on Jan. 21. Born in Bronx, N.Y., he graduated from City College and received a master’s degree from New York University. A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he ran a musical instrument distribution company for over 30 years and was an actor who performed in community theater.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Naomi; two sons, Mitchell (Jennifer) of Ridgewood, and Clifford (Leslie) of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.; a daughter, Margo Steinmark (Daniel) of Flanders; and six grandchildren, Charlotte and Liam Kahan, Adam and Kira Steinmark, and Max and Ella Kahan.

Herb Dell, 86, of Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of Fair Lawn, died on Jan. 26.

An Army World War II veteran, he was a band leader/entertainer for over 40 years for Dell Music, a member of the Fair Lawn Lions Club, and past president of the Glen Eagles Condominium Association in Delray Beach.

Predeceased by a brother, Robert Edelstein, he is survived by his wife, Beatrice, née Fine; two daughters, Marsha Thaler (Robert) of Fair Lawn, and Sandra Eckstein (Barry) of New City, N.Y.; a sister, Carolyn Dorf (Joseph) of Boca Raton, Fla.; grandchildren, Michelle Carolan (James), Russell Thaler (Brooke), Laura Eckstein, and Rachel Mulgrew (John); and great-grandchildren, Koby and Eytan Carolan, and Max, Nate, and Will Thaler.
